Pianist, Composer, Publisher, and Teacher, whose volume of work spans a myriad of styles and cultures, characteristic of his life experiences. Raised in South Africa, Charles was trained in classical piano performance and composition, but his heart was captured by American Jazz music as he developed into an accomplished jazz pianist with a talent for improvisation and composition (more than 1,000 songs). Charles became a household name in South Africa with weekly appearances on Radio and TV. Charles now resides in the United States. Versatility is Charles' mainstay.
He is the featured artist on over 200 albums, spanning Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, Solo Piano, Piano and Orchestra, Jewish, African, and New Age music. This album features Charles playing his favorite love songs His sensitive style is hauntingly beautiful, portraying Charles' exceptional personal experience. This style is carried through three of his moving original melodies featured on this album: "Love Me", "Dreaming of You" and "It's About Love".
